    Tracking.....

With the 15" wheels on my car it was scrubbing the outside edge of the front passenger tyre... The drivers side was fine.... I swapped all the wheels around and it done the same to the front passenger side wheel again..........

So that's twice its scrubbed that edge... and only the front passenger side wheel....

Then the other week the wheel bearing was singing.... so last week we changed it....

17" wheels now.... and they checked the tracking today... they said it was fine. only 1mm out on the front which is acceptable, within the tolerance range. Its £18 to get 4 wheel tracking done but since he only checked it and I know the lads, they didn't bother changing me anything.

I just hope that changing the wheel bearing has sorted the problem with scrubbing the edge of the tyre as I cant afford to change 17" tyres every few months.

My front tracking is well out, the inside edge of both my fronts is bald. I think it's still within the legal limit though.

If he was cornering too fast, surely it would be the outside of the tyre to go first??
