I thought I'd post a little update on the MG
Its going great, ive done a few bits of tweaking over the last 12 months, fitting a glass rear screen and replacing faux crome trim with the real deal.
Engine wise its had this lot fitted
It isn't the quietest of exhaust but puts a smile on my face!
Also had an ECU remap (from one the guys that did the original map for the the cars). It is now hopefully pushing 180 BHP with the exhaust and remap
I am also thinking of getting the original chassis engineers to fit their handling kit and tweak the suspension a to how the cars should have been not how the bean counters at MGR dictated.
Oh and having the top down at every opportunity!
Oh an no Head gasket problems
MaddAussie.... have to swapped ends with it yet?
I understand they like a spin occassionally?

I have had it step out few times unexpectedly (diesel, oil and wet leaves on the road mainly) and you have to be quick to catch it.
It's strange how some cars get a rep for being tail happy (very nice example of a good looking little car by the way), I've a car that's got the same kind of rep (another Rover machine).
Yep the Tom Cat , love the old girl (despite it costing me a fortune in parts, there's just something about the design that I love), I've flung her around tight corners, driven in the snow that we've had over the past few years and not so much as a twitch. Can't say the same for the 214Sei that I had the year before though (well in the snow at least... not good).
