    Medion GPS Navigation from Aldi

    Lo all,

Nottm's completely sold out of these, and I've only just heard about them! Can anyone do me a MASSIVE favour and pick me one up and send it to me? I'll cover cost of postage and even petrol money if you can get one for me...

It's £270 and finishes on Thurs....!!

    ops:

I dont think I'm gonna get one now cos the Ibiza I might be getting doesnt have a cigarette lighter... just a blank plate where it should go in the centre console..

Hmmm... need to find out if I can get one fitted... but how? heh

Easily buy cigarette lighter sockets from places like Maplin, or any half decent automotive parts shop.

Dad put one in his MGB so he could run a fridge.

I know you can buy them, but i dunno if there are wires laid for it, or how to put it in.

I'll go take a picture to explain... BRB!

Waiting for piccy, but I can't imagine that it would be that hard.

It's just a 12V cable from the fuse box. (make sure you put a suitable fuse in though) If there's a blanking plate, it implies that 12V sockets are available just not fitted. I'd ahve thought that the relevant wiring will be there, if not at least a hole for the fuse in the fuse box.
