pug 206 - Dipped headlights not working

    Hey,

I've got this thread up on 206info and a couple of other places too..but wondered if any hexites could help here

Got a 54 plate 206 (mark II, multiplexed), and the dipped beam has stopped working on both lights. All of the other lights work - rear/brakes/sidelights/full beam/indicators etc, it's just the dipped that don't on both sides.

I've tried changing the bulbs, and i've checked the fuses but still no joy..i'm now suspecting that its the relay that's gone, thats the next logical conclusion (don't even want to consider an ECU issue..although likely as its a pug!), but any ideas of anything else I can check?

    Any ideas gratefully received

    Spud

just short the relay pins to see if its that.

Re: pug 206 - Dipped headlights not working

A bit more digging suggests the relay for the lights may be hard wired into the BSI (com2000 unit) Trying to confirm this but if so thats a nightmare, £250 for a replacement..not what I need at the moment ;/

    Thanks for the hint though!
