New engine

I have a 1 Ltr Nissan Micra that i'm thinking of "taking to the next level".

i want it to have a 1.6 almera lump in but several things i haven't got a clue about - first off i know it would need to new engine mounts but can it run off the micra's driving gear or would the almera's be needed. also i take it the ECU would be needed out of the donor car.

Does any one know a company that would perform such a task? also which of the 1.6's nissan blocks would be the best?

Have you taken a look at the Micra Sports Club?
There are peeps on there that have done all sorts to the lil baby nissans inc Turbo's, replacement engines etc.

i'm a member of the MSC - only problem is that the network admins have the msc's urls (all of them - buggers) on block along with msn, hotmail, and many other web sites that got "hit" daily.

i'll be doing a similar post tonight on the msc but hexus is the only car related forum i can get on for now.
