    Yeah - the original RS cars we're insaine, before they changed the rules for saftey reasons

    Purpose built rally machines, but you had to have 200 road going versions.

    And if you must know, the RS200 was based around a cut down sierra.

    Indeed... And a very good page - shows why certain road cars of the era were so popular (Pug 205, Renault 5) and why some cars are still a bit legendary today (Lancia Delta, Audi Quattro, Metro 6R4)
