Alpine Mirror Link with Nokia

It's not often aftermarket ICE switch's my mind on.. it did long ago, but the habit was broken, and my wallet recovered.

However, Alpine have not got a proper link up from smart phone (Nokia only at mo.. Sammy and HTC soon) to screen so that the stero looks like the phone screen.

ie.. it's your phone with touchscreen etc but on a stereo. via USB lead.

but it's a sod to get details from their site!

However, I can see this being very popular for people who like their phone set up with icons in a particular order,.... plugged into their stereo to do the same job

If things like Google map work... with the phone doing the receiving, map on screen ... with phone charging on USB lead... with all your Apps, and muscic.. if iPlayer works... on 3g while you're parked up waiting for your missus to come out of wherever you're picking her up....... if your film collection, photo's etc are all on it.....

if if if... Wordfeud and the construction apps are all useable from your phone to the screen...

I think it's genius.
