Yup, it's a long time to be covered in burning fuel if something goes wrong, that's why the nomex suits these guys wear make F1 gear look like a t-shirt and beach shorts! It's even scarier when you consider that cars like this aren't usually the work of hives of engineers, laptops and computer simluators but a couple of blokes called Bo and Duke in a shed :/

I've actually had the privilege of sitting in that car! I was very young at the time, and didn't fully understand what it was, but I remember it was absolutely bloody huge!
