    Air Conditioning

My warranty expires on the 30/06/2004... that leaves me 8 days to get my aircon sorted on my car... my dad thinks it needs regassing....

So ive phoned the warranty dudes up and they will only pay upto £28.50 per hour labour for a dealer/garage to look at it. (and also pay for any parts that it may need).

I was gonna book it into the main Renault dealers but im sure they are around £50 per hour labour!

Has anyone got some suggestions on what i can do? the best way i can sort this?

Yellow pages list any Air con specialists nearby?

A regass is no more than an hour of a job....

Found a place thats £25 per hour... if its got a leak then they will fix the leak and regas it... warranty people wont foot the bill if it just needs regassing.... so do i create a leak?

they want £47 to regas it....

Well, I'd suggest not only a regass but having the reciever/dryer replaced (should be done every 2 years ). Now if that was loose, you'd lose all your gas.....

Only 8 dyas left, might as well get everything coming to you with the warrenty.

Car labour is still cheep imo, even at £54 per hour

We get some Mercedes engineers for our vans at work, and they charge £79 per hour
