Saab's museum has been auctioned off, car by car.. and I'll tell you.. it's a mammoth collection.

there are many cars that can't be sold.. but manufacturers CAN run and insure them for staff.

According to the museum, the 1981 Turbo 900 model, featured as Bond’s own favourite in three of the spy novels, is equipped with bullet-proof tires and windows, infra-red goggles, 4 tear-gas ducts and smokescreen protection – topped off with a “SAAB 007” number plate.

Must be a few Bond fans who would love that 900 model. I would like this one below personally.

look through that lot.. I've been there. I've eaten in amongst those cars.. drunk Swedish beer and toasted them. Stroked them.. and in all honesty.. spoken to theose cars.

It is certainly a real shame to see the collection broken up like it is likely to be. Would be great if someone/people would band together to keep them all in one place.

Rumour has it that Trollhatten local authority, along with person with dough, has bid on the lot :-) oh how i hope that's true.
I'd got transport quotes for 2 cars over the north sea to Grimsby ready. Will keep my plans on ice.
