A VTEC 1.8l Type R powered mini and something a bit more sensible like a TVR Cerberra.

OK that's two cars but they're both relatively cheap.

I've seen the one at the beaulieu motor museum and yeah they're blimming massive compared to most supercars but everythings in the right proportions and they're absolutely stunningly gorgeous

They never made a road version of the speed 12 afaik.

My dream car would have to be a AM Vantage

The new DB7 Vantage does look mighty tasty, and I love the Vanquish too. Something not quite as tits-out as a Ferrari, though I wouldn't say no to an F40. 911s are too common now, every richard head has one, and though the lower price bracket 911s are worthwhile IMHO all round you can do far better at the top end. Oh and Ben, sure you wouldn't prefer a Metro 6R4? Would love to see peoples faces after laughing at you saying you drove a Metro then turning up in a 6R4.

Metro 6R4 is ok, but it doesn't have any heritage. Both the Quattro and the Delta were world beaters for a number of years in succession...
