Suitable car HDD

I think I might get one of those for the missus's Focus. Anyone know if the Sony unit in a 57 Focus does shuffle? I don't fancy 23 hours of alphabetic music...

Of course, having bought the USB stick, I now discover the car only has aux in, not USB. I was sure it was USB the last time I looked.
