The rack mountings are likely to be different, as are the track rod ends, these could come with the s/h parts, also the steering shaft/uj could be different, and the pump could have an extra guide/adjuster.

Surprised you feel a need for it though, my kit car has stupidly wide tyres, no power steering and is no problem for parking etc.
Sadly the Ka appears to have the steering system from a Challenger tank - it's ridiculously heavy for the size of the car, so much so that I thought the one the Mrs was driving had the PAS steering box and bits, but no pump (it clearly didn't, but if felt like it)

yup that I can agree with for some reason when I back out of a parking space and have to go full ock the other way and don't have room to creep I really have to heave the wheels round and my arms are usually feeling it afterwards. Driving it's fine it's even not so bad if you can creep a bit to move the wheels but standing still god help you.

any chance you could buy a write off as a donor car ? at least you have all the bits you need then and chance is would cost the same as the parts alone

may need to add ecu and engine wiring harness to the mix though.

Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack
off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.

Nah a donor car is not really viable as I have no place to store it and they get really angry if you park derelict cars on the street here.

ecu added to the list of things to check.

See this is why I posted this here so I can get a list write down part numbers from my car and then go to a scrappy and start cross-referencing.
