    low LTR rally events?

i'm thinking of creating a Micra rally car, what i would like to know is if there is any low ltr comps that i could enter (as the max engine size is only 1.3)? and if there are any rules such as exhast systems used etc

any advice or links would be great!

They're plenty of motor sport disciplines you could look at. From tarmac rallying, road rallies and my old haunt, Sprints and hillclimbs.

Most tend to have different classes where you can compete - Sprints and hill climbs for exampls, had standard car class (very limited mods) and a modified car class.

1400cc is usually the capacity cut off point. Wouldn't bother entering the modified section as you'll be up against carbon fibre mini's with stupid amounts of power.

Local car clubs are the best place to go along - Go watch an event, get a feel for what your getting yourself in for. If I remember correctly your a Manchester lad? The association of north west car clubs would be a good place to look for a local club.

Be warned - Motorsports are Highly addictive and if not controlled properly, hugely expensive!
