Damn - these Chevy engines have strong valves...

Just been attempting to prep a set of cylinder heads ready for a trip to the engine builder......
And Ive just BENT my normal set of valve spring compressors - and these are std springs, not even race poundage.... wouldnt have minded but these are (or should I say were!) good quality spring compressors.

Im surprised as well.... couldnt believe it.
Thought they were compressing the valve springs - until I looked around the other side and they are....bending
Im dreading putting race poundage springs on now.... muhahahah there going to be flying around the garage I can tell you

Forget valve spring compressors, you need suspension coil spring compressors!
