Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean

The Pirelli's have been a huge disappointment after having worn out the front set of SX-GT's. In comparison this is what I've found:
The P6000's....
....have more initial grip but this has produced a much less progressive break-away to understeer. This has made the front end significantly less predicable when trying to balance the edge of grip at roundabout apexes thus reducing the amount of throttle control available.
....have increased the steering weight by around 20%. This has reduced steering feel, read necessary information, enough to make a fast flick-flack a less vicerole event.
....have increased tyre squeal to an embarassing level where even moderate tyre loadings have the tyres complaining well before they loose traction. The Michelins would slide earlier (and more progressively) but hardly murmoured at all.
In all quite frustrating. I suspect the problems may lie in Michelin using a slightly harder compound for it's energy saving properties.
The Pirelli's were cheaper at about £75 a corner compared to £100 but it seems the extra may be worth it. However that is a solid 10% of the cars value for a full set so OUCH!
hehe, I am still winning with £125 a corner at the momentOriginally posted by Tumble

Had Eagle F!'s on the cav-turbo and nothing short of something hitting it from the side when corenering would unstick this bugger..... the 4WD helped too mind but these tyres are immense for grip both wet and dry..... They wear quicker tho due to soft compound
At the moment I have Dunlop SP9000, 235/45*17 all round. Shame they cost around £135 RRP
