I detest those headlamp eyebrow things. Ugh!

And if I had 5 grand to blow on a car, I'd be looking at a '91 M5........

everyone always raves about 106 gti's, they're always top of the polls, but has anyone here actually driven one? i used to drive a 106 1.1i zest 2, and that was go-awful. oversized shopping trolley.

never driven the 106 GTi, but the missus has still got her 106 QuikSilver, GTi kit, suspension, alloys & brakes but with the 1.4i engine.. and gotta say its very nice on the twisties, loses out on the straights due to a little lack of power, but the handling is imo superb..

They did a test in Top Gear a while back and the 106Gti and Porsche 911 were the cars able to pull the most "G's" whilst cornering.....

Nope, the Top Gear test was to do with braking. The 106 was about 1 cars length more than a Porcshe.

The only cars which are going to be doing silly G around bends are Skylines/Scooby/Evos.
