Has anyone looked into how the Nissan Leaf is dealing with the hot summer in the States?
seems Nissan decided that cooling the battery wasn't worthy.. and the battery are already losing capacity.. in one year of use.

I'd be more inclined towards looking at hydrogen myself, while in its infancy I think this has far greater potential when it comes to extended range as you simply top up like a petrol pump with companies and universities looking at using algae (i.e growing it in vats) to produce it (and what with hydrogen being one of the most abundant resources in the galaxy...).
