    Ford Puma's

Right.......... i need to know how to tell whether a Ford Puma is a 1.4, 1.6 or a 1.7? is there any visable differences to the outside of the car?

I know with the Megane Coupes.... you can tell the 2.0 models because they have rear brake discs.....

Now how can ya tell a Puma? I've spotted one around my area and it has nice 17" wheels and a 3" magnex exhaust.... im curious which engine it has..............

Just done a bit research on Puma's too and find it quite shocking that they only have 240mm brake discs......

Get the reg and go onto the AA online car checker thingy. It should tell you what engine size.

Yeah, RAC or AA, both work similary as good. Try both though, as somtimes one won't tell you engine size, just make and model.

In 2000 Ford increased the brake disc size, as it was deemed that the original discs just werent upto scratch. And I agree I had a 98 Puma 1.7 and it sucked at braking big time, god knows what would have happend had I ever needed to slam those brakes into action
