3hrs till i pick up my vRS

Well its just past 9am this morning and its about 3hrs till i'll hopefully be driving my vRS back home again. I can't wait, now what CD's to pick for the ride home, or should indeed i be listening to CD's maybe hearing the engine and turbo going on the way home will be great.

Just got to remind myself its so much more powerful than my current car that I really need to learn how it performs properly, I wouldn't look to clever crashing it already.

As soon as i can get some pics put up i'll show you the beauty

heh - it's like people who slag off my focus, solely because it's a ford, yet they've never even seen the interior of one, nevermind driven one. someone bring an uber skoda to the track day and show me how good it is, and in return i'll show off what the blue oval can do

Anyway back to Tig's question about what CD.

Well, I had the pleaseure of picking up my very first new car this time last week. And I have to say that I'm normally someone who has the stereo on the entire ime I'm driving but I did the entire trip from Stoke to Coventry with no stereo, just so I could have a real good listen to the car. Mine aint quite what your gettin Tig mate but its just nice to listen to the new car for a while I think. Oh, that and that big grin you'll have for the next week or so cuz you've got a nice new car thats all yours and its damn fine.

Hope you enjoy the car mate

The time has ticked by. Moby and I are waiting to see just how long it takes TiG to get here. We ponder questions like how much of his tyres, fuel and brake pads will be left. Or for that matter if he'll actually stop driving it and get here at all!!!

Maldonado remember it's horse's for courses. Besides the ST170 just doesn't look like it's hoovering up the road as it bears down on you, carelessly spitting it over it's shoulder as it inexorably approaches.

Hangs...suspended....awaiting confirmation of TiG's safe arrival

And when it comes to the SKODAS image.....Vauxhall has a far worse image than Sloda now. Its really hard to get people to realise that a Vauxhall is now quite a dynamic car.

Skoda are there......they have it nailed....like TiG's accelerator pedal!
