Mine specifies every 3000 if always doing short journeys or every 6000 miles otherwise.

Since I do them myself, it works out at about 1p per mile for decent oil and a honda oil filter.

I don't plan on getting rid of mine, so I don't care about service history stamps, I just keep on top of things.

Service interval seems to be 12k/yearly:

ofc if you run fully synthetic oil then in the cars I have tried it on you are constantly topping up, so in 6K miles you have probably burnt the original lot off

That 60K service is a bit busy.

Do you mean if you don't run fully synthetic? In my experience fully synthetic tends to require less topping up.

Its worth noting not sure if Honda still do it, if the car does have a full Honda Service History you get free MOTs for life , its worth weighing it against the cost of the service when your shopping around. Mines had about 4 MOTs now for free.

I think that would have been mentioned if it were the case but i will certainly look it up!
