Or you could just completely forget about using the clutch at all like my missus as she drove my poor car to work this morning

Tumble is exagerating....he drove it , and had it sussed in seconds.

    Clutch control.

    One word. Feel.

Can you not "feel" the engine through the pedal as you bring it up....feel it "bite"?

DO you have a car of your own to practice in? If so, try this.

Lots of space in front....lots and lots. Empty road maybe.

    Handbrake on....

    no throttle....just tick over....

bring your clutch up and feel it just bite and then push it down again.

OK....in the LONG termm it will ruin it, but we;re talking VERY LONG TERM.

I mean do it 10 or 15 times....

CLutch down....1st gear...handbrake...no throttle....clutch up and as it starts to stall, clutch down.

    DOnt go anywhere.....dont stall...just feel

Feel.......sense it......feel the engine begin to die, and then down again.....feel.....sense...

    you'll get it
