    Thats a new one

Would the extra power gained be more than the extra needed to lug around a canister of CO2 tho ??

Wouldn't need to be a huge bottle though - just for the odd squirt here and there. It'd be like water spray but a super efficient version. I've seen Co2 induction kits and they get that cold the surrounding pipes freeze!

that looks interesting.. might be easier to mod into the landy than an intercooler... hmmmmm

I Think the Sumo Power skyline runs a CO2 intercooler.

You certainly see a lot of white gas from it before it goes up the strip.

I'm sure some of the drag guys will just freeze the cooler with a fire extinguisher before a run.

why not look at wather/methanol injnection ?

Yeah, it freezes the intercooler - it's the same sort of thing but mounted on the car.

Water injection is a similar thing.. but nowhere near as effective as this, though of course water injection also cleans your engine a bit and lets you advance the timing since the burn is longer.. this is just super cool charge temps.

Could be a problem on the GTT though... can you say carb freeze?

    yeah not ideal
I'm sure you coudl do it cheaper with a co2 jet

but methanol injection is colder and burns too

Water won't be anywhere near as good, but... as far as how easy it is to refill, you could use it all day and never worry about it.
