    Insurance Renewel

Just had my renewel quote through from Tesco. £1K. For a Ford Escort 1.4 Harrier. Lost my no claims cos my car was bust into and stero stolen. Anyways, fter shopping around, came across a nice quote for £460

Seriously, I would have dumped the car if insurance was gonna be £1K or more from companies, the car just aint worth it.

Tesco's were slightly over priced for me, wanting £1400 for a 1.2 16v clio and 3 points call adrian flux same details and £490 would love to know where tesco get their quotes from this is even after telling them I am 23 and Tesco wanted that silly price with no accidents or crashes or claims made in my driving history.

Tesco were good before that claim, and when I was a student. Using Elephant now which apparently is a branch of Admiral, who gave me my second lowest quote of £510.

I've been mighty impressed with Admiral. They've given me a great quote and nobody (including the 'specialists') can get close to it - Adrian Flux, for example, were double!

I also tried Elephant as they are indeed the same company, but it came out £200 more so you might find Admiral work out cheaper?

As always though with insurance, it's very subjective...

Over the past few years, I've just shuffled my business around the admiral group as they've been the cheapest.

    Admiral, Bell Direct, Diamond, Elephant
