    LRP and Fuel Addatives

Does anyone have any experience with either of these?

We managed to find the perfectt car for us, but we thought it was unleaded. Turn out it hasnt been converted, and so runs on LRP. Its thebest car weve found, but no one seems to do the unleaded cylinder heads for it, and a proper conversion cost £450 odd, compared to £150 for the cylinder heads.

Is LRP good enpugh, and are the fue addatives easy enough to use f there is no LRP available?

Well my dad has an Austin 10 1933 and he runs that on unleaded. Dont think he cares what he puts in it. We've even ran it on some contiminated stuff before.. petrol/diesel mix. (uncle has a garage... some donkey fueled there modern car up with the wrong fuel...)

but running leaded cars on unleaded cause pinking in the short term ad valve seat recession in the long term. Or does he not use it enpugh to cause a problem?

depends on how durable the engine components are, my dad runs one of his land rovers on unleaded without having changed the cylinder heads, been doing so for 3 years now with no trouble........

LRP's should be fine, as should using normal ul with an additive, which you just pour straight into the tank.

LRP is just ul with an additive ..added anyway
