Hexus Rally car gets a Cat!!!

This kind of thing ONLY happens to Zak....only....ever.

    Sitting comfortably....? Then I'll begin

Dave Keen, driver and preparation expert of my rally car, came to my house on Monday, and used his keys to gain access to my garage, and to drive the rally car to his workshop, some miles away.

On arriving at his workshop, he did what most people would do, and took the bonnet off.

It is at this point that the CAT JUMPED OUT!!!!!

No kidding...a cat had got into my garage, (where I keep my dogs food, so it smells nice in there I guess), and must have heard me and the dogs coming, and climbed under the bonnet ,and up onto the gearbox.

I dread to think how long it was there...probably several days!! poor little sod. It was then driven, no doubt at break neck speed, while perched on the gearbox, clinging on for grim death, and when the cold light of day, plus Dave horrible ugly mug beamed down on it, it did what you or I would do, and made a dash for it.

Since Tuesday, Dave has been spotting it around his workshop and yesterday was the last straw. It set off the alarm, and he was called out in the night to his garage!

So, being both caring and cunning, and realising that even IF he released it, it would never make its way home, he put some cat food on the gearbox housing, and left the bonnet on.

Sure enough....this morning, he shone a torch under the bonnet and there was a tail.....a hanging down, just as furry as you like!

So, with some gentle driving techniques he drove it home

Opened the bonnet outside my house and off it went!

I know it sounds hard to believe, but its true!

So this Dave Keen supposed expert rally car preparer fits cats when everyone else decats ???!!!!! Are you sure he is a good as you think he is?

He sounds a bit backwards to me mate, what would he suggest doing to my car, taking the induction kit off, lowering the boost, fitting skinnier tyres and putting a banana in the exhaust?!!!!

    lol
