Nah it's poo. Any sport that has to ban every form of technological advantage just to try and keep a level playing field must be sick to the core. Active suspension, active downforce and CVT to name but three. F1 stopped being about the cars and the sport long ago.

Personaly, ive had enough of F1 now, i dot care what they do with it, i dont care what tracks they use, I dont care who runs it. I hope the manufacturers do set up their own race series.
