Idiots that don't understand full beams...

Sorry guys - apologising in advance, cause this is a bit of a rant.

Was driving home tonight along the country roads, going at a moderate 50mph cause there's huge puddles everywhere. Up behind me drives some ..... doing 80mph. Now this I wouldn't mind, apart from the fact he's had his full beams on all the way and with him behind me, I can't see naff all.

So I do the reasonably sensible thing, slow down and let him pass as soon as possible. And I give him the horn for being so inconsiderate. At which he decides the sensible thing to do is to pull up in the middle of the road and stop about 20 yards in front of me. I've already slowed down to about 25mph, (cause I couldn't see so I go to pull around him, at which point he floors it and pulls off.

What on earth is wrong with people like this? Sorry this incident really wound me up - but it annoys me that berkshires stuffed full of speed cameras - not one of which will stop maniacs like this.

    Rant over Feel better now
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

I hate the damn things too. More so when they're oncoming cars and it's a modern car with 1,000 watt Xenon bulbs or whatever. Hideously bright, and really unnecessary. It's a main road.. Not an unlit country lane

My car is awful when switching from full beams it takes 3 or 4 seconds to respond to me dipping the lights

I hate being blinded at night it takes age to recover your sight !

If i ever get somebody right up my arse with their full beams on, i just do what Urban Terrorist did and just slow down to a crawl, let em pass and then give em hell with horns/fullbeam.
