    New Car! (56k no)

Bought an Octavia vRS . Got it for a bargain price from work as it's one of our company cars at the moment, she's chipped and got a Brembo upgrade kit on, which is nice!

    Here's a couple of pics:

Still keeping the Clio, were going to get rid of our Megane

No Sensei, i'm not kicking the mats to waste time, they have parted and I don't want to injure myself!

I've heard that despite being a company car, it's only used for the school run and I don't know of any rally stages on school playing fields

Paul's Skoda is extremely modded under the bonnet as well, it's been Jabba'd, I think it's around 245bhp at the moment. He likes the show stuff as well though. He used to be an RSC member, had a Clio cup before the vRS. This is his website:

He's thinking of selling up, perhaps I should have bought that one!

I need to read up on it , but from that spec sheet it looks just like a chip , filter and exhaust upgrade - the boost upgrade is from the Jabba ECU - their booost controller is used to lower the max boost set by the ECU

is there much more to be squeezed out of the Skoda engine than 245 or does it start to get silly then ?

EDIT: coilerover are mucho sexy though....

get it some nice struct braces and poly bushes all round as well !

I read the briskoda boards for a while when i was looking to buy mine, and the chip is simply the easiest boost of power you can get. It is without a doubt a very modifiable engine tho. There was posts on there with Audi TT's running 350bhp, (same engine)

Its one of the major reasons that i chose the Octavia Vrs, its got a superb engine, common across the board of most of the VW Group.

I think that spec sheet is quite old, although he has updated all of the pics as the wheels shown above are his third set, so it could be right. I'll point him over here if I catch him online.

The cars really nice in the flesh and he is the reason I took an interest really, tried to keep up with him on the M6 after an RSC meet as all I saw was the badge really (how wrong was I, lol), couldn't though, lol. Think he was about 220 bhp then. He took me out as a passenger after that and it totally changed my prospective, especially for the money.

Don't know about mods as I havn't had chance to look, although Lowe's started on me already!
