Yes, but that all costs money. A software tweak is cheap by comparison - until you get caught.

Well I think he's trying to reassure me, since that's what my engine has for the most part But even so.. I'm suspicious

Well all the technology in the world won't help a heavy right foot over the loud pedal. I think that is my problem

I just noticed there is a Chrysler 300C with 5.7l V8 for sale not that far from me. Tempting, and I doubt that will have cheated on the emissions so it must be the green option eh?

Is it the estate version, sorry Murder Wagon version, of the 300C? They are, somehow, very cool.

    Do they do those????

One of them in 5.7 V8, that sounds strangely super

The alternative is an Alfa 159 and I was hoping for a Sportwagon version of those. You are making me wonder what sort of sport the owners are into now

Edit to add: Found one, but it is too new so £505 per year tax rather than £290. Quite a long way from where I live too, interesting idea though!

Surely the easiest plan would be to install a 'sport' button?

    Normal mode - in spec
Sport mode - out of spec.

    Job done.
