need help on an M3 (02 plate)

Guys...educate me pls.

I have an 02 plate M3 here with the SMG gearbox, paddle shifts, widescreen TV with satnav etc.

I need to know "special stuff" such as whats the bonnet made of? Cos it weighs sod all....same for the boot lid. And why are the door catches no where near the quality that you'd expect of a BMW? Is it a lightweight shell?

I know the battery is in the boot, and the electric seats have adjustments for quite literally everything.....I can adjust the width of the side cushions, the level of lumbar adjustment and WERE it is in the back, as well as all the normal adjustments, and its gt memorys for different drivers.

What do you recall from your readings guys? Cos I have a customer due tomorrow and I know nowt about this one

Google says the bonnet is aluminium. Has it got 18s or 19s on it? The 18s are the performance drivers choice apparently- but how many E46 M3s were bought to be driven hard?

its on 19's which apparently have run flat tyres. Its got a can of foam in the boot.

thanks Rave. Ally bonnet. It does feel and sound different. So does the boot though. Doors open badly tbh for a car of this calibre.

Since I advetised it the phone hasnt stopped. This one is a UK spec from Germany. Owner lived abroad, gt it tax free, UK spec, but was PDI's in Germany. Other 2 service are UK BMW garages.

I swear I would kill my silly arse self in this.

I've had over half ask me if I'll pop it up t them for a look. To Scotland. and Wales. And Bristol...etc etc.

New someone locally would ring sooner or later.

Z4 is on run flats as is the new M5 iirc...

BMW seem to love these run flats and fitting them to everything....including their wheel barrows!
