I once had a go in a T350 at a racetrack, and the instructor told me that the way not to end up in a hedge is to brake, then change gear once you're at the required speed, otherwise, if you try to use engine braking, you're sending 400bhp through the rear when you're trying to slow down, so of course you're going to spin... It seems a lot of TVR drivers were not told this when they bought them...
