Cigarette lighter plug mini lights??

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get small mini lights that could plug into the cigarette lighter and then the kids could use them to read with when its dark in the car?

I bought a set in france which were LED lights attached to a 1 metre cable and plugged in and these were great at night but I cant find them anywhere in the UK?

you could make them yourself pretty easily - maplin sell a plug for that sort of thing (goes into a ciggy socket) then just wire some leds up to it

The item that you desire would be a map reading light. Do a search for car map light in google and ebay and you should find a few. Ther are cheap ones and pricey ones, pricey ones are used in rally cars. DOnt be tempted to get an army landrover one, they dont plug in to the power socket and tend to be 24v. Maplins do a cheap one for around £5

How often do you leave your kids in the dark in the car to read?

Don't they suffer from motion sickness?


BTW, thanks for the info on the bike was really useful i got the ball rolling on it, but then I found out that any NCB's on a bike were not acceptable for most Car policies. So its all on hold whilst i think it over
