Cheers mate,
Its a shame what I submitted and what was used (especially on the picture front) wasnt used - would have liked a couple more of the photos and a little bit more text (especially where the text has been totally chopped around)
And they didnt even mention the website - even though he said he would
Otherwise - all good stuff, now to get a 'proper' feature when its finished
Practical performance car! ive not heard of that one before

In 2001 on a glorious Sat afternoon, beaming sun, one of my disabed customers came to see me because a stone had cracked her sunroof, and a small shard f glass had fell in her lap, and she had her grandson with her...she was unsure what to do.
SO i taped the entire roof up, inside and out, with gaffa tape so that she could drive until the next week when my boys could swap the sunroof glass, when it arrived from Vauxhall
She was wel pleased (dunno why) and rang the Mobility Lifestyle magazine, who came and interviewed me (!) and took some photos of me and her and the car!
it was in the following months mag.
Apparently on a SUNDAY NIGHT, her sunroof had shattered, spraying her grandson with glass. and I'd rescued her even though I dont work Sunday nights!!!
the press....pah

Understand what your saying - but, I had been in close contact with Will Hollman (editor) about the article, I guessed he would cut it down (I sent 1200 words and he only wanted err 300!) but he had promised both the www.imc-racing.co.uk and www.crapconversions.co.uk sites would be mentioned.... cant complain as it gets me exposure, if only people knew how to contact me...... next stop American Car WorldOriginally Posted by Zak33
That the same Will Holman(sp?) that built a 5 litre Mk1 Capri in practical classics?.

He joined the V8 forum I mod on - wanted to do a 'group thang' for the cars - but as mine wasnt running, ended up as a garage feature.
Yeah, apparently all the people from the 'car conversions' bit of Practical Classics went off and formed this new magazine, Practical Performance Car. Failure to keep their promises to Eazieb aside, it's an excellent read, highly recommended.
Rich :¬)
Gotta be worth a trip to WH Smiths tomorrow then...need to pick up the new Classic Ford as well...
Hmmm i had a look and couldnt find it in mine
