What is it in compotition with? The Probe maybe?
The calibra maybe, but tbh a car isn't always designed to compete with other cars already on the market. And to say the cally was a cheap cossie alternative is backwards its a completely different market, as was the cavalier, the cavalier was more of a british take on an audi, nice four door car big enough for the family but with nicer seats more gizmo's and a bit of extra poke under the bonnet. People buy them as cossie alternatives thinking its got 4wd and a turbo so its gotta be the same and they drive it like a cossie and end up breaking it/crashing it into a ditch.

The Calibra was pre-Probe, and tbh I know which one I'd rather have...

Trig, calibra came out in 1990, the probe was released in 1989, but I know which one I'd rather have aswell tbh

The probe's an interesting one. Mazda from the ground up if I'm not mistaken. Actually quite a stable platform with very little torque steer.

Goota be the V6 in it to be worth anything, the 2L 16V managed at pitifull 115bhp and around 11s 0-60.

Of course, you'd have to admit you owned a probe

Would rather own the mazda mx-6 its based on, better looking and I wouldn't feel like a complete tw@t driving it, saying that though the probe did pretty well stateside for some reason :-/
