    I thought they look fine, considering the jump in technology. They could always add side walls on the outer walls right? Making it look like a real tyre? I havent really read up on it,

    whats the point really? normal tyres do the job well enough.

    besides the police wouldnt be able to use their stingers anymore

    Other than the punctures and occasional topping up the PSI. Probably opens up more possibilities for wheel design

    May even allow better performance

    Someone said they would be able to tune lateral stiffness and vertical stiffness independently. Allowing for good cornering and a comfortable ride at the same time. If it works and is safe - why not, adding a side wall shouldn't be a big issue. People might like to show them off anyway though. Although i see some vandalism concerns.

    i think they will have a sidewall to stop them filling up with cr*p - the photos so far just dont have them because they're trying to show how they work
