After the fun car under 5k thread I went back to autotrader to look at my lovely preludes and found this:

^^ Pmsl ^^
Lol, i already explained why i want front wheel drive (which i do like) But to reiterate:
I don't have enough driving experience to turn the 200sx away from posts/walls/fences after it rained and it rains a lot here
I want usable acceleration which i can be comfortable with in the wet
My mum's (who may be driving it for a while) technique of wheelspin control is to let it sort itself out without lifting off. Fine in a 90hp fwd volvo 440 or a 1.1 106, but not in 200hp 200sx.
If it had traction control I would have considered it, but it don't. So i won't. So don't (start again that is)

lol I wasn't being a 200 zealot
I was in fact putting aside my comedy FWD prejustice - it looks like a cracker of a car !
I'll let you in on a seekrit....I drive an FWD car on a day to day basis

heh not at all I thought you were referring to lou & andy anyway
there was a nice prelude of the same model on the SXOc boards , but I think it might have been a bit more pricey.

i kinda have to stick to unmodded vehicles for "not having to sell my kidneys to afford insurance" purposes. And i am trying to spend 3-4k. Less is better, but that prelude is just spot on. Latest generation UK model 2.2 vtec manual with fsh and 77k. And all for under 4k Shame I am having to wait till i get a job and am over 25 (september). Or I'd be buying this today.
p.s. yeah i was referring to them

you'd be suprised - you can probably get modded insurance once you hit 25 if you shop around.
