Whats an FMIC anyway? I'm guessing Fegging Mahoosive Intercooler?
Edit: and that RS200 is tuned to run on 118 octane fuel

FMIC - Front Mount InterCooler.
IC size isn't always an issue - how well it flows however is a different story, and where it costs you money.Originally Posted by Moby-Dick

Tell me about it - silicone is a git.
Find a Powerflow and get them to make the run in metal. Bet it's a lot cheaper. That way you only need the silcone for the joiners.
yep - it still looks like pipework is going to cost more then the cooler itself which is a pain

Well that FMIC cost me £300
Its a bar and something one as opposed to the normal type, whatever that is
Looks nice trig. At the end of the day the big fat piping your gonna fit on that is gonna be miles better and less restrictive than the probably crappy thin pipes used as standard.
A slight increase in spool time (if there actually is one) is definatly worth it for the reduction in charge temps and possibility of running more boost safeley IMHO
Butuz
My ECU will only allow 16psi standard and 19spi overboost anyways so I'm not going to be going mad anytime soon, as for the increase in pipe size it'll still be 2.5" from the FMIC to to top hat so nothings going to be different really, and for the power I'm looking at it would make any difference anyways..
