Best 40 quid spent so far

Narrowly edging out my front strut brace as the best bargain and best value for money product I've put on my car so far, is.....

    This

One Sabelt 4 point non-FIA harness, from the lovely people at Demon Tweeks for £40. Only went to the petrol station across town earlier, but my god, you do the straps up tight and you flippin don't move! Can only just reach the stereo! No longer will I be hanging onto the wheel. And IMO they look the dogs danglies to boot

This week's other new toy to arrive was...

...an Exedy organic clutch, able to handle 70% more torque (i.e. abuse ) than an OEM product. Much fun and tom foolery (read, swearing and hitting things) will be had on Monday fitting it

All in all, been a bloody good week!

    mmmm shiney kit

are those the standard seats ? they look great !

nice to see you didn't go for a paddle clutch - I think they dont suit "fast road" driving so well
I'm waiting for RPS to make the clutch I'm after ( ie non paddle and can handle 300+ bhp )

I need to make a shiney kit thread soon - its piling up under my desk atm....

There's a part of you that almost wants to crash to try out the harness, isn't there?

Cheers Moby - the seats are not standard. The last owner had the seats and door cards special made so they are truely unique. I'm always getting asked about them There's no need for a paddle clutch for me, I'm only putting out 7hp more than stock and I need to be able to use the thing on a day-to-day basis so didn't fancy having to launch at 3k every time to avoid stalling.

    rajagra - you scare me
