    Most prestigous car???

    Did anybody see fifth gear last night? They had a survey done on how prestigous some cars were. The cars entered were:

    VW Passat
    BMW 3 Series
    Mercedes C Class
    Jaguar X-type
    Audi A4

    Who came last? The A4, the 3rd was BMW, 2nd was the Merc, and 1st?

    The Jag. Who did they survey, Grandads?

    But i suppose there are too many of them around to be prestigous, it was not a survey for the best car, thats why the Jag won it. there are so many a4's around that that coudn't possibly be prestige.

    So, fair enough really!!!

    If you class a prestigious car as one that isn't very popular, why would you put only 1 "prestigious" car in a list with many other popular saloons?

    Why not have, say, Bentley and Aston Martin etc in there? Don't see many of them around, and you could certainly class them as presigious!

    i would say jag is a lot more prestigeous than beemer. the beemer maybe a better car, but its got a real rep problem as they're driven, on the large part, by tw*ts. when was the last time a jag cut you up?

    well put, I think Bmw's are nice cars but I'd never buy one because of the image associated with the mark, it's an unfortunate shame.
