My car is a 1997 1.0l Vauxhall Corsa - No power steering bucket of a thing but it does what it has to do for me
Only problem I've ever really had with it is that when it's sitting idle either in traffic or parked it heats up, far too fast. In fact in probably under 10 mins the temperature gauge is visably climbing to 100oC and after it hits that the steam comes flying out of it. It won't do this from a cold start but say you've just been driving and its at about operating temp. and then you sit idle - problems arise.
What's causing it!?
It get through MOT fine and has been serviced twice and gets through that fine but it still heats way up when it's just sitting there ticking over. I'm going to buck the manly trend of pretending I have clue about it so I'm just going to throw it out there and cry, "Just fix it it's broken!"
