If you're not living on the edge, you take up too much room
was going tot ask they same honoop
what size are they jiff ?
The wheels - they're 15"s, with 195/50's on. PCD is 4x100, not sure on the ET * yet cos I've not had time to have a proper look. But, as soon as can, they're getting whipped off and flogged. Can't really put the originals back on (BIG damage to one wheel, and they're a PIA to refurb) and its really hard to get wheels that suit - watching a few sets of the bay, big chunky 5 spokes are the order of the day.
Picked it up last night; Starts and pulls like a train, stops in a straight line, sticks like a sticky thing round the bends. Old pressure good, no overheating. Didn't have camera at home so no additional pics yet. Will take it home tonight; Planning to whip the skirts off (fnar fnar) in preparation for the weekend welding fest.
* PCD (pitch circle diameter) - the distance between the wheel studs; they'll fit VW, toyota and Vauxhalls.
ET is the distance from the centre of the rim to the mounting face - Very important to match this or you'll get blumming awful handling.
i dunno if they are what you're after jiff, but i know someone giving away a set of these
for free. same pcd as yours (only 14s though, but that may improve the ride a little), and in better condition than those actual examples.. nice, chunky, 80s alloys
