DO you lot like this space-age crap styling of new cars to come?

things like this look too futuristic for my liking....

although an amazing machine looks very un car like to me.yeh people want aerodynamics etc but this is getting silly now.we want a car not a plane. something like a zonda is as space age as companys should go as it looks good in a futuristicy kinda way without looking too over the top... so why go to extremes like the above maserati. its proved that cars can kain without needed to look like something out of Blade Runner (PWN film) so why go to this new styling? another example being this:

I mean who wants a car that looks like this.
honda too are doing this but then honda are space age technology but in a good way so it will hopefully look good.
The thing is that people may have cars that can do 200+ but who will ever seriously do that other than on a track... so why make them more areodynamic to go in argument faster...

SO the REAL POINT IS: do you people think that this space age design of upcoming cars is a good thing from a looks and preformance point of view.

I think those look alright.... Low and sleek.

What I don't like is the blatantly ugly styling of new cars such as Meganes, Micras, Peugeots, etc

tbh, i think concept cars will always have styling that is a bit 'beyond' what the market is ready for - its then scaled down when production comes.

personally, i think its good - i mean its nice to have some unique design inputs into the motor industry, otherwise it'd never advance..

    Aero is good,

It enables improved stability at speed and better handling, even at low speeds (well, reasonably low).

And concept cars rarely make it to production without major aesthetic changes so don't worry.

Personally, I think the Maserati looks absolutely beautiful. But then I always think Maseratis look beautiful. Aside from the Biturbo. That, I'd torch and scrap on general principles...even if I hadn't paid for it.

I like Biturbos. They look a lot better than those crappy coupes they've been doing recently. Not as nice as the Ghibli though, THAT is a gorgeous car

I am going to disagree with you all now, and say that i love the new renault styling- its different! Now, i like 'different' things because it makes people look. Thats why i like most concepts, i like the old mini, i like the old citroens, and rare cars. Mainly because you don't see them EVERYWHERE!!!
    that's the chicken!!!

I havn't really liked the way cars looked since the late 80's and early 90's. They just looked 'car like'. I hate things that are overly designed or supposed to look 'head turning'.

Still the same dude that pennen my current vehicle is responicble for the renult design team now, so I'll shut up.

Remember how the Scorpio was greated when it came out? Sure it's still ugly, but it fits in a LOT more with cars now than it did then.
