What a complete and utter joke, if this doesn't lead to *serious* discussion about setting up that breakaway F1 championship, then I don't know what will..

Oh, nice to see that Schumy isn't fussed about gutting Rubens for an extremely hollow 10 points.. I'll bet Rubens has a few more choice words for Michael..

As I said to my bud Matt D - we were SMSing each other about the total farce which F1 is now-a-days. I can't believe yet again Ferrari, desperate for points play the anti consumer, viewer, and ethics cards.

    I am shocked and upset.

Wow Schui won - big deal.

Yup, utterly pointless as well considering the amount of bad press that this is going to generate, just shows that someone seriously needs to give the poison dwarf a thorough slapping.

If i was spectating i would expect my money back, track invasion to stop them getting
points would have been funny. So it was down to ferrari then, i guess my arse knows
    a thing or two.

F1 is nearly as dull as football.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

its especially dumb to do this at indionappilis - how the hell do they expect to win crouds over like this? they should have started everyone from the pit lane.. was anything actually stopping them racing, other than crappy tyres? i'm surprised no-one had a go-slow on the track

Having 18 cars race instead of 20 would have been better than just the 6; the FiA should have instigated the turn 13 chicane thereby possibly forcing Ferrari into not competing.

Although it is Michelin's fault for not providing adequate tyres, the FiA could have, and should have, taken the action to ensure a decent race went ahead.

However, points mean prizes and it's good (from my perspective as a Ferrari nut) to see Ferrari with a few more constructors points. And the incident at the pit exit had me in stitches

The problem, IMHO, with F1 is that it's too much of a 'design-by-committee' scenario; there doesn't seem to be a defining authority with the right perspective who can say "this is what is going to happen". The FiA made the decision to uphold the rules which can be considered correct and 100% fair, but as Martin and James said, it's not what the fans are interested in.

    Role on France...
    Simon
