<shakes head> It's an auto. Now who would despoil a nice car like that in such a fashion? Tut tut.

Find a similar manual for the same price and I'd be damned impressed.

Haha, if i had a choice, it would be manual, though i would like to try and drive an auto.

If I get a celica, it will have to be a 1.8 ST, because insurance for a GT is ridiculous for me

    Talking

I just got an upgrade on me motor traders so I can now drive a 2.0L for social domestic and pleasure been limited to a 1.6 for couple of years

Gonna have to get saving and pay off all me debts and try and get some money together for a decent little run around, I'd probably be going for the 1.8 ST aswell unless I could find a decently priced GT available

As long as you don't mind the 'big-go-kart' feel. That's how they drive!

Haha, thats why I want someone to hold on to it for a while (IE until I am, i dunno, 25? ) If it was a 1.8ST I would have bought it.

Autos are wierd..... That Signum was nice and responsive, not really any lag when you wanted it to take off, but not having a clutch pedal there is a serious psychological hurdle.... I kept wanting to lift off the gas when it changed gear, even when it was in "manual" when you should just keep it planted.... kept wanting to brake with me left foot too for some reason, although I sometimes don't use the clutch in the van and never want to left foot that at all... Weird, but immensly fun. Loved the way it just stuck to the road and only complained a teensy bit when I tramped on the loud pedal....

I can still use the stick to manual change gear, push it up to change up and pull it down to change down, just don't have a clutch.
