    finding a scrapyard

whats the best way of finding scrapyards? they dont all seem to appear in yellow pages and i could really do with finding one - i just moved down here and dont know many people who didnt just move down - so word of mouth isnt really an option. any ideas??

    brighton

i'd heard of the online jobbies but i figured pnp on a driveshaft would be ££lots.

also dont you have to pay per query on them?

I found plenty in the yellow pages. IIRC they're under car breakers.

A breakers' would probably be more use than a scrap yard.

    I'll be more precise

Bridges is one of the largest breakers' yards in the South East.

Thumbs down Bridges Scrapyard Pikeys !

Well good luck to you going up there..what a bunch of idiots, their idea of a fair price is to look at you and then see how much they can rip you off before you walk away leaving the item on the counter for them to put on the shelf and sell, ( hey! free labour ). If you do stand the price then take it home and find something wrong with it, Good Luck on getting your money back, you'll just have about 5 blokes looking at you waiting for you to turn round and walk out...All in all i would NEVER go there again.

What was he searching for to dredge this up? Is it just a mission to trawl through popular internet forums besmirching the name of Bridges?
