Had a play vs a Cossie tonight. :)

Coming home from Chongshindo this evening I saw an absolutely MINT D reg Sierra Cossie - whale tail the lot.

Anyway I thought to myself it'd be rude not to. I wanna hear that Cossie go for it proper style.

Anyways, he wouldn't bite at all. Not even pulling along side and letting the BOV off at 17 psi would tempt him.

But he bit when a normal Escort tried it at a set of lights. I was behind the Cossie and this silly Escort tried it and the Cossie.. well killed it stone dead. Hilarious stuff..

Anyways I thought I'd try to get the Cossie to bite again so pulled past him a little smartish like, got him on the inside of an island. He didn't bite again, yet a MG Maestro 2.0l tried to have a go at me!! I let him pull along side then just gave it full beans in 3rd... BYE BYE

Then what should I see in my rear view mirror? A Cossie coming after me full bore. I wound down the windows to hear it - man it was delish. Anyhoo he soon caught me up and we had to stop for a set of lights where I was turning right. The Cossie was side by side and I gave him a beaming smile and a thumbs up, to which I got a nod of approval and a huge grin back.

He then reved it up, wheelspan away leaving myself and Mark in a cloud of tyre smoke as we turned right. Made my night that did, I highly recommend it.

I had a drag race with a Renauilt Megane Scenic at the South Mimms roundabout today. I, stupidly, was in the wrong lane [a blunder on my part -- to busy singing along to "Just a little girl" by Amy Studt -- I know, disturbing....anyway, I digress] and decided a nifty bit of automotive "how's your father" was in need.

Edging at the lights, the dad in the Scenic obviously knew I was up for some france v france action, and decided to rev the living daylights out of his treehugging-box. Suffice to say the silly tit, despite edging and edging before it went yellow, was slower than your nan up stairs off the lights. I won, grin from ear to ear, laughing all the way to the next metre, when a Scenic over took me.

    Bastards.

If I had a D plate whale tailer....it would be VALUEABLE, I would not give Lowes Clio a 2nd glance.....it is STEALTH personified....so what he always wanted.....bit him on the arse

Did it have vents and a little tiny spoiler under the wing?

If so its a real 500 (likely anyway) and its got the extra injector rail and a monster turbo (big lag)

I hate Sierras.....but it started the whole thing off....all that time ago.....a BEAST for the masses

    Colour Lowe? Moonstone? Black? White?

If an RS500 owner is razzing their car about, instead of kissing it goodnight in a heated, carpeted garage, someone needs to have words.

    The horror!

If an RS500 drivers rassing his car about then well done to the chap, I doubt cosworth built it to sit in a bloody garage n have people Oooo and Aaaaa over it..

If you were going out with a supermodel would you take her places show her off and smash her hips in or would you just sit and look at her?

    Nah mate,
Was just a Mk1 Sierra Cosworth, in white. Really mint though, he had spent some serious money on bringing back up to its original state, it even had the original RS multi spokes.
Good laugh though, I told Lowe he was just bait for him, but the guy was really cool, he even gave us the thumbs up for trying/ *cough* not letting him through *cough*

I'd have a boggo 3dr Cosworth for daily drive. The RS500 would something special. Mine. Forever, and I'd want it in perfect condition. I saw a RS500 with a few miles on the clock at a concours event last year. Even had the original stickers on the tires. Yummy.

Not saying I would not drive it. I would. But not at night racing Clios. Track days and special occasions.
