The speedo on a Busa reads about 10% fast, so when it hits the stop at 220, he's actually doing about 200. You'll notice though that the tacho is only reading 10,000rpm at that point and it goeson to nearly 11k, at which point he's doing 215-220. He doesn't even change into top until he's doing 190.....
Cheers for the vid. I reckon it's from Sweden, for some reason 90% of nutty bike vids seem to originate from there.

video is a fake. look how fast that he goes past that road he goes past. never 170
it was posted here a while ago and i think the general concensous was it was a fake

Ahhh that old video, note the junction he goes past on the left side, he passes it at well over 100mph apparently, so that makes that sideroad about 60m wide....
This has been about a while. I think the tale is that the guy has the bike setup for wheelies instead of top speed, which means altered gearing and the speedo running off the gearbox getting awfully confused...still a cool wheelie though...
Yeah, I did wonder why the road was going past so slowly. Still, he's gotta be doing 150 or more even if he has downgeared. A proper turbo 'busa would do that speed easy, and it wouldn't put the front wheel down till about 180 either!

This is the thing...people don't seem to realise that hes still moving along at a fair old speed, even if he isn't going as fast as the speedo says...
