No, vtec changes between 2 cams (altering timing), vvti changes the cam phase (altering where abouts in the cycle which valves are open, then i-vtec and vvtl-i do both.Originally Posted by Howard

Insurance group isn't everything - I think you should set an insurance budget first and try for a few quotes ( bear in mind specialist insurance companies can save you quite a bit. )
Why not buy something quick and get an lpg conversion on it ?
I know a few people with LPG'd 200sx's and they get diesel running costs with 280bhp fun
