Lad in the yard next door to ours (my bosses bro-in-law) has been offered a ride in our local (ish) moto-x championship this year. The guy who wants him was the guy who beat him into second place (by one point!) in a series of races for a brand new bike last year, and owns his own shop.

Bikes will be supplied, all kit, spares and entry fees paid...all he has to do is get himself and his stuff to and from the events. I'm thinking of offering to be 'gofer' in his team if they need one!.

P.S. Its a KTM ride.

Thats great! It really helps when you can get sponsored like that! Takes so much of the financial burden away! Good luck to the guy!

I wish I had the cash when I was younger for a bike! My cousin rides for Yamaha in the South African off-road championship (he's actually the SA Champ at the mo), and the cost when he first started were unbelievable! Its all turned out quite well for him now though with loads of sponsors!
